HIGHWAY 57 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE

Open House Community Meeting

Beginning April 24th, County Seat Coffeehouse will host a weekly Construction, Coffee & Conversation at 2 p.m. with the Hwy 57 Project Contractor from Elcor Construction to talk about the project. This is open to the business owners and community members! It is free to attend and coffee will be available for purchase.

Summary of Work

Reconstruction of Hwy 57 from the South Branch Middle Fork Zumbro bridge to 9th St. in Mantorville is scheduled to begin mid-April 2024. It is anticipated to be completed late-summer.

Work includes:

  • Reconstructing roadway base
  • Constructing new driving surface
  • Replacing of stormwater pipes
  • Upgrading pedestrian and bike facilities

Tree Removal

MNDOT Crew will be removing trees along the construction route.

MN DOT will hold Public Community Meeting at the Dodge County Government Services Building at 4:30 p.m.

Road Closure — Construction Begins

Hwy 57/Main Street will be closed for construction crew to begin staging for construction .
