Due to the City’s unexpected loss of Council Member and long time City volunteer, Lyle Hoaglund, the Council meeting tonight will be short and only address the consent agenda. Notice is hereby given, <\/strong>that the City Council of the City of Mantorville adopted Resolution No. 2025-44 Setting the Monthly Water and Sewer Rates for 2026:<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 Water Base Rate:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0From $20.49 to $21.15<\/p>\r\n

Water 1,000 gallons:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 From $5.10 to $5.25<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Sewer Base Rate:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0From $37.96 to $39.10<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0 Sewer 1,000 gallons:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0From $8.97 to $9.25<\/p>\r\n

In 2025, the MN Legislature passed a law to amend MN Statute 144.3831 to increase the safe drinking water service connection fee.\u00a0 This fee was $0.81 per month for 2025 and will change to $1.28 per month beginning January 1st<\/sup> 2026.<\/p>\r\n
