You will be notified by email if you are selected to work.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Election Judges open and close polls on Election Day, help voters who need assistance, ensure only qualified voters are permitted to vote, and certify election results for the precinct.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Election Judges are paid $12.00 per hour; Head Judges are paid $12.50 per hour, including all training.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>To serve as an Election Judge; you must be:<\/strong>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>At least 18 years old (or 16-17 years old serving as a Student Election Judge Trainee)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Minnesota resident for at least 20 days<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Citizen of the United States (identification may be required)<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Able to read, write and speak the English language<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Eligible to vote and reside in Minnesota<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Appointed by the City Clerk<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Able to attend training sessions (2-3 hours every 2 years)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>To serve as an Election Judge, you cannot be:<\/strong>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Related to another Election Judge in the same precinct and work at the same time<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>A candidate&#8217;s spouse, parent, step-parent, child, step-child, brother or sister, or live in the same household as a candidate<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>A candidate for the election in which you are serving<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Read about serving as a <\/strong><a courteous<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Detail-oriented<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>General math skills<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Fluency in second language is helpful<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Comfortable with serving a diverse population<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mantorville.com\/City\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Apr-2022-Legal-Notice.pdf\"
